ABOUT CASITA FLOR DE AGUA

✶ OUR STORY ✶ While renovating our property for guests, we found carved trisquels on wooden panels on the front of the buildings and on some of the homemade furniture. Each tells a different story, which inspired us to name our three casitas after the ancient spirits and traditions of this special place. We named Casita Flor de Agua after an ancient Asturian solstice tradition discovered in carvings on the property itself - celebrating the magical connection between water and light during the summer solstice, like a flower of water blooming with the first light of the longest day.

✶ YOUR COZY RETREAT ✶ This charming 45m² sanctuary offers the perfect cozy retreat where we've blended past and present harmoniously. The space is designed with a comfortable living area and well-appointed kitchen where you can prepare traditional Asturian meals using local ingredients we'll happily recommend. The inviting bedroom can be arranged with either a queen bed or two single beds to suit your needs, while a comfortable sofa bed in the living area provides additional sleeping space.

✶ YOUR SHARED OUTDOOR SPACES ✶ Our shared grounds include multiple relaxation areas, a peaceful area sheltered by our large walnut tree, comfortable sun loungers for enjoying the northern Spanish sunshine, and an

outdoor dining area with BBQ facilities where you can prepare the region's finest local produce. The spacious lawn areas give children room to play safely while adults relax, and we've positioned seating spots throughout the property to capture different views of our beautiful rural landscape. Whether you're planning a meal under the stars or reading with the mountains as your backdrop, these outdoor spaces offer the perfect way to experience Asturian country living.
✶ WHAT WE PROVIDE ✶ You'll have plenty of parking space and access to shared garden areas that connect you directly to the natural beauty we enjoy daily. Step outside and immediately experience the sights and sounds of rural Asturias.
✶ YOUR PEACEFUL EXPERIENCE ✶ Casita Flor de Agua offers the peaceful rhythms of Asturian country living while providing modern comforts including radiator heating and a washing machine. From your window, you can observe the same celestial movements that inspired the ancient solstice celebrations we discovered in our carvings and perhaps experience the magical midsummer dew that local folklore says is collected by mystical beings in this very area.
✶ OUR LOCATION ✶ Our home at Caserío Arcenoyu in Celada (33318 Villaviciosa, Asturias) connects you to the timeless traditions that have marked the changing seasons in this region for generations. We can guide you to nearby nature trails, spectacular viewpoints, and historic sites that tell the story of this culturally rich area. The beautiful beaches around Villaviciosa estuary are just 25 minutes away, while Villaviciosa town with its authentic restaurants, historic architecture, and renowned cider houses can be reached in 15 minutes. The stunning landscapes of Picos de Europa National Park are approximately an hour's drive away for memorable day trips.
